Light tourism, I wonder how much damage your customs people did for the 2 year period they went for a money grab. Even though they didn’t get any money from me they wanted to change me an import tax for the silver jewelry my wife had that we bought there from previous trips. It was taking close to a couple of hours to clear a plane or two while everyone was standing waiting in a hot room. If my first time to Zihua was during that period it would have been the last. Bad sign if expats were intentionally taking flights that connected in CDMX to avoid customs in Zihua. Zihua keeps shooting itself in the foot. Then there is the no dogs on the beach thing, how many more does that scare off? At least they seem to have gotten the airport situation somewhat under control for the past year.
