Vet certified to clear screw worm for USA bound dogs

Hi - thanks so much for posting this information! Any recent updates regarding how the airlines are treating the issue in Zihuatanejo or whether Nutrizoo is now certified to issue the certificate? Any additional info would be a huge help. Thank you

The mandate was rolled out with very little notice or information. Alaska, Aeroméxico and United require the certificate in order to board a flight with your dog to the USA. Dr Jorge Islas in Ixtapa is now authorized to issue the screwworm certificate. +52 755 115 0936 He needs at least a week to request the documents from a government vet in CDMX and requires a 50% deposit up front.

No doubt there will soon be other vets in the area who will be authorized to provide it as well. It's an additional income stream for local vets.
