Wednesday night electrical storrn

Not growing up in thunderstorm areas, we both enjoy the storms here. Wednesday nights was insane. Several of the people we see on the beach daily, locals, talked to us about it.

We ordered a thundershirt for our puppy. Her older sisters was too big, but helped.

We had damage, and are still finding it We are by the dolphins on la ropa. The power went out once, for less than a minute. He went outside to check the pool level, and found the lights on, and red. He turned ON the switch, and they came on their normal blue. Turned them off, and they were on, and red. Now they are off, but still red. The remote needs a new battery so we assume we can change that.

The power supply on my third floor computer fried. One of the in wall pool lights is dead. The weather station data logger switched numbers around and now reads 3.09 inches less for the season to date. There may be more things we haven't found.

We have found no signs of a direct hit, nor think we had one.

So, if you live out here and return to a dead appliance or other weird things, chalk it up to the lightning
