We sensed the squeeze on our arrival yesterday. We opted for a colectivo, saving, I think, $13. Checked in with the captain outside and waited for someone to join us. After 20 minutes, as dozens of people happily took off in their taxis, I reminded him we were still waiting. Even after the last passenger from our plane had left, the guy made us wait. We thought about caving in and paying the difference for a cab, but decided not to let him prevail. It took 35 minutes, but we got our ride -- with a very nice, friendly driver. He got a nice tip for the difference in fare he might have received for our cheaper voucher.
