Lagoon dredging approved
Can somebody tell me what the impact of dredging the lagoon, the inoperable sewage plants and the rebuilding/replacing of the pier will mean to occasional tourist (like me)? I am considering on returning next March for a couple of weeks. Thanks in advance.
It means the politicians and a few other "public servants" will be richer during your next visit.Other than that everything else should be more or less just as it was when you last visited.
From a purely selfish point of view, I worry more about whether or not the area in Centro east (?) of Cinco de Mayo and south of Morelos will be liveable during the dredging - and whether the smells emanating from the Las Salinas area will be less than, equal to, or worse than they were last tourist season.
