Best arts and crafts
You may be talking about the guy who does the beadwork masks etc. Amazing stuff. There are some real treasures in the indian market but also a ton of junk (a lot of which is probably from China), so it takes careful looking, but it is there. And if you can do a day trip trip or overnight, Patzcuaro and nearby pueblos have amazing stuff….masks, copper work, textiles, woodwork, ceramics, etc. etc. There's a lot more arts tradition there than in Zihua.
