Dogs on the Beach

Nothing has changed. We are still awaiting a followup meeting. Rules are supposed to be relaxed since ALL of the beachfront restaurants at La Ropa except La Perla oppose the ban and will allow you to bring your pet on a leash to their restaurants. Catalina also will let you use their facilities and bring your dog. They remain a pet-friendly hotel.

This municipal government will be out of office next year, and I fully expect this rule will be rescinded by then at the very latest, hopefully before. The only thing the rule has done is assure that less residents and tourists visit this beach. Kind of stupid since we're a tourist destination in serious need of tourists.
