Gluten Free Eating

A friend of mine came for two weeks who needed to eat special for gluten free. She had a card similar to the one Tess mentioned in her post. In every restaurant she ate at someone read the card and said they understood. Several times she was a little ill from the food she ate. I do believe they do the best they can, but it sometimes just does not work.
