There have been several more earthquakes in the region since Thursday afternoon. I felt one of the stronger ones located in Lázaro Cárdenas late Thursday, but there appears to be a swarm occurring in front of the coast of Petatlán. For those of you in the region, stay alert, have your important documents ready to run outside with, and I recommend installing the SkyAlert app if you haven't already. It can give us a helpful warning, even if it's only a few seconds when they occur nearby.

We had very cool Thursday morning. I think it got down to around 19°C. Some forecasts call for the cool mornings to continue while others suggest a slight warming up. I expect the cool mornings to continue as they usually do at this time of year. Might even need to keep a blanket handy.

Lots of buses arrived to Zihuatanejo today, and several of our beaches were crowded since early this morning. It's good to see our weekend trippers. While they don't represent sustainable tourism, many local businesses depend on them. After Semana Santa we'll see one of our slowest periods of the year until school vacation starts in the middle of July, so the weekend visitors will be the main source of income for a lot of people in our region.

Don't miss the Eco-Tianguis "Sanka" across the street from the Museo Arqueológico de la Costa Grande from 9 A.M. to 1:30 P.M. this Saturday morning.
