The sun seemed to rise a little later this Saturday morning. It seemed a little darker out than usual at 7AM. A touch of haze in the air in an otherwise cloudless sky. No breeze today, but more visitors than we've seen for a while. The hotels and beaches were busy places today, and the waterfront restaurants were doing good business. Boats were still returning to the pier full from Las Gatas well past dark with lots of happy smiling faces and suntanned bodies. It's good to see our visitors enjoying themselves. The downtown beach was still full of people well past dark, too. Folks relaxing and enjoying the beach without worrying about all the stupid Blue Flag rules.

Sometime during the night larger waves rolled into the bay, making the perfect sound for sleeping to after having been so small as to be almost imperceptible for the previous couple of days. But not very large, the largest barely a foot high. But it seems to have calmed back down this Saturday evening. Frustrating for surfers.

We also continue to enjoy mild overnight temperatures, perfect for sleeping with windows open and a fan on low speed. And the nights are getting longer.

Deborah's Restaurant in Ixtapa is still accepting reservations for her bellybusting Thanksgiving Dinner this coming Thursday with all the fixings. And don't forget to save room for her sublime pumpkin pie for dessert. Two seatings: 5:30 and 7:30 P.M.
