Immigracion check in upon departure?

Would like to hear from someone who has departed from Zihua airport in the last month with permanent residency as to whether their airline required them to check in with Immigracion at the airport prior to departure?

Permanent Resident here.
I just flew out of Mexico City to Colombia via Panama.
I stopped at the Migración booth.
They did stamp me out.
Not sure it was necessary, but it was on my way to the gate.

When I say ‘stamped me out’
I mean my passport.
Never did have the old ‘form’
