Spay Followup

We have been so pleased that we have had four private messages about our girl's spay!

Our 9 month old Mexican weimaraner puppy, was spayed yesterday by our wonderful vet, Dr. Jorge Islas in Ixtapa. We have three weimaraners, and he has taken wonderful care of them for the 6 years we have lived here full time. All three weimaraners are from Mexico.

Little Diva, our newest baby, at 28 kilos, was dropped off at 11am and picked up at 6pm yesterday. She was mobile and doing well. She came home with anti inflamatories and pain meds, and, now 24 hours later, is, unfortunately, back totally up to her normal function. WAIT! We think she just passed out for the night! We are keeping her out of the pool and the ocean for 5 days, and then, hang on. She goes back in in 10 days for the stitches removal, but she is already a monster again.

We LOVE our dogs and are so incredibly happy with the care we get from Dr. Jorge.
