Funny how when I walked into the condo the last few days, and the work crew music was Metallica, Motley Crew, even some Ozzy. I guess they didn't get the memo on listening to "Traditional Mexican Music"

What I really admire about the younger generations is that they have no problem seeking and choosing the types of music that speak to them. Would we growing up in the 1960's and 1970's have listened to our parents' music? Hell, no! "We don't care how good Rosemary Clooney or Frank Sinatra or Louie Armstrong are! We are rock 'n' rollers!"

I saw a chica proudly showing off her Lynyrd Skynyrd tee-shirt once. I accosted her and asked if she really listened to them. She said, "Oh, yeah! They rock!" I walked away singing, "Gimme' three steps. Gimme' three steps, Mister..."
