taxi fare, mosquitoes

Hola everyone,
I'm arriving in Zihua soon and have a few questions.
First: has the taxi fare to La Ropa from the airport increased since last year?
2nd. Is mosquito repellent necessary? I've been hearing about dengue fever?! however I am a long time visitor to Zihua (40 plus years) and have never had a problem with bites...the hotel sprays regularly and the bats on their rounds at dusk seem to help. but of course the climate has changed so if anyone has advice your input is appreciated.
