And now there's a huge koi pond (I mean, BIG hole) in the parking lot, half of which is now torn up. Not sure if anyone will be able to walk from the little bridge over the lagoon through the parking lot. Just my vent this morning.

The entire area is a disaster. I'm surprised the people who "planned" this obscenity, if there was indeed any planning, didn't consider better how to deal with the rain. It's obvious it's going to be a disaster zone during every single rain. But it's also a daily work area for boat operators as well as a tourist area.

The huge hole they dug looks like it will be unstable ground to put the new Capitanía building. It's almost as if the people "planning" this have done as terrible a job as possible on purpose in order to have to make repairs soon. Job security.

Nothing about this obra reflects quality. It's all about expenditures, and if Alex Serna was right, charging rents to the vendors who will later occupy the new area.
