Hopefully, when they rebuild, they'll include a small floating dock (such as the one at Las Gatas) so that us old farts can more easily disembark from the pangas returning from Las Gatas in the afternoon.

That is precisely the suggestion I have been making to the municipal government for years. Perhaps if you wrote them they would remember where they've heard that suggestion before. I think one of their favorite past-times is trying to ignore me even though I keep predicting their future and making observations and proposals that years later come to be the popular consensus.
