Is it possible that an intense low-pressure cell might be helping the fault let go? Was there a storm nearby on Good Friday also?
Only according to superstition. Folks here claim they can tell it's going to quake from cloud patterns in the sky. Several folks said that yesterday they thought it was going to quake. So they were off by a day.
