Launching a Boat in the Surf?

I've been wondering the same thing. I recently purchased an Advanced Elements Lagoon kayak that I plan to bring down in December. I am a total novice... quiet lakes in and around Seattle are my waterponds so far. Getting into the kayak hasn't been a problem; it's the getting out! I guess I hadn't given much thought to the surf in Zihua!
