Iglesia Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe turns 60

The church my wife's mother, Doña Rosa Farías, helped found and that I like to say is named after my wife Lupita had a birthday today. La Iglesia "Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe" celebrated 60 years since its formal dedication in 1954.

So if you saw the procession of folks marching and singing from the church downtown to the other church at Plaza Kioto holding the sacred image of Guadalupe, then that's what it was all about.
