Ash from Popocatépetl continues posing problems over a large part of central Mexico primarily between Puebla, Mexico City and Cuernavaca. Anyone with a flight through Mexico City should check to be sure it isn't delayed.

Thursday night never got as cool as expected, though it was still perfect sleeping weather. Friday was another absolutely perfect day in paradise. Numerous visitors were enjoying the beaches in Zihuatanejo Bay during the day, and this evening the waterfront restaurants along the Paseo del Pescador were full of folks relaxing and enjoying themselves.

Una pequeña sección de Playa Las Gatas que aún se encuentra en su estado natural. Es una lástima que esta y otras playas como las de Isla Ixtapa están tan saturadas con restaurantes que casi no hay áreas naturales. Las playas se deberían conservar para futuras generaciones como Áreas Naturales Protegidas.
