Agreed. Fewer trips to the ATM is a good strategy. If you can score a Mexican bank account, that is ideal. No fees! I was lucky to score a Bancomer (now BBVA) account before they tightened the restrictions. Also, if you open a bank account at Schwab, they will refund your ATM fees world-wide. Very cool! The least costly ATM fees seem to be at Inbursa Bank downtown across from Los Braseros.
