wondering what is happening there?

We are considering going to either ixtapa (been a few times, but the place we typically book is booked already) or acapulco (never been, the owner of the unit says you can't leave the compound - I've been to Guatemala etc.. bike all over the place... last year in Brazil, the couple in front of us got robbed at gun point on a bike, crime is everywhere now it seems yah just never know )

I get some posts for real estate in the area, seems as though prices are coming down it may be a good time to buy (?)
(same thing is happening in north america esp as the trade war goes on up north)
We might just go look at some places if we go down. Any good real estate agents, I knew one but she doesn't seem to be around anymore. Any things to consider if we do go condo hunting?

I sure miss the beaches, biking, sushi and fresh fish there etc...
