Chikungunya & Dengue

Down here it is pretty much you know you have it and all you can do is take Tylenol (in case it is Dengue where you do not want to take Aspirin or Ibuprofen)

Can you clarify that last sentence? If one has fever and joint pain, assume it's chikungunya and take Tylenol/acetaminophen....but if it's dengue, you don't take aspirin or ibuprofen? What does one take for dengue? Is aspirin and/or ibuprofen OK for chikungunya?

I ask because Mrs. HolyMole isn't supposed to take either acetaminophen or ibuprofen. Maybe just staying home in the snow, (where there are NO mosquitoes) is the best idea?

You could just stay home and hide under a desk.

Or you could just get on with livin'! ;-)
