Never said I was a Trump fan but the stock market sure appears to be. It seems like both sides work really hard to put up the worst candidate. Since I live under the wrath of Newsom, I’m already screwed but at least there is no snow or hurricanes here.

Regarding the stock market in an election year, the stock market usually reacts favorably when the election is decided. Sometimes that is before the election occurs when it is evident which party will win. In this case, the candidates were tied neck and neck so it was not evident which party would win.

If Agent Orange goes through with his promise of massive tariffs and deportations, that will definitely be a strong negative for the U.S. economy and the much-anticipated recession will be a doozy.
