Patronizing and insulting people you disagree with is not going to change the outcome of the election. I don’t speak for anyone besides myself (obviously), something that I think would humble you and help your cause, but I personally voted for him because I thought he was more fit for office than Kamala regardless of the names you call him. Outside of this forum no one cares if you hate him or his appointees, so continue to scream into the void if it brings you peace or conversely listen to your friends and neighbors and let them tell you why they voted for him and try to reach common ground.

Surfguy, you're fighting a losing battle. You're trying to deal rationally, without patronizing or insulting, with people who harbor a visceral hatred for Trump. There is nothing you could say or facts you could present that could possibly overcome this hatred. The best thing people can do at this point is take solace in the fact that none of the gloom and doom that they are predicting now actually happened in his first term. In fact inflation was low, unemployment was low, fuel prices were low, the border was more secure and there was no major conflicts or wars around the globe.

They trash the economy, the following Democratic administration fixes it, Republicans block any progress then blame the Democrats for the lack of progress, and the cycle repeats. Your cult leader is inheriting one of the best economies ever, if not the best. We already know he and you will give him credit for it instead of where credit is due, but what you don't know is that he's going to trash it again. He's already begun and he hasn't even been sworn in yet, and you'll blame Biden and Obama.

I've got it now, thanks for explaining it. Everything good that happened during the Obama Administration was because of Obama's policies. Everything good that happened during the Trump Administration was because of Obama's policies. Everything bad that happened during the Trump Administration was because of Trump's policies. All the downturns in the economy during the Biden Administration were because of Trump's policies. If the next four years go well it will be because of Biden's policies if not it's Trump's fault.
As I'm sure you know the reason illegal immigration is down now is because the Dems read the polls and realized that their open border was wildly unpopular with voters. After claiming for over 3 years that there was nothing the Administration could do to stem the flow they suddenly figured out how to do it just before an election. It' a miracle.
There's nothing apparent from the last four years that would indicate that if Harris had won the border would again be thrown wise open.
