Book - The Next Civil War

It’s interesting how diverse the views are within the US. My friends and community and are very optimistic with his appointments and what he’s achieved in the last month. But that’s why we have an amazing country.

Stephen Marche makes a similar point. He acknowledges the diversity and the inherent tensions of such diversity as important characteristics that support America. (I find it interesting that diversity, along with equity and inclusion are under attack.)

He also argues that the tension and structural aspects of the US, including the tension between state governments and federal governance, argue for another US civil war.

“A celebrated journalist takes a fiercely divided America and imagines five chilling scenarios that lead to its collapse, based on in-depth interviews with experts of all kinds.”
