Wokeness

I am saying that Wokeness is widely and unnecessarily intolerant. Jerry Seinfeld says he can't tell his favorite joke about a gay French king anymore due to hate mail, and it's not coming from the Right. Something that no one would have thought twice about 30 years ago. Many other artists have complained too about an intolerant left-wing vibe, often referred to as Woke, that limits their free expression.
You're conveniently twisting wokeness to mean "courtesy." In fact, the first time I heard that. This has nothing to do with Fox news.

I'm not twisting anything. Jane Fonda said basically the same thing I did when she received her SAG award a few days ago. I believe she called it "decency".

I've never been a fan of Seinfeld. Never watched an episode. I have no idea if he's funny. But cancel culture is not wokeness. Intolerance is not wokeness, it's the exact opposite. Awareness = wokeness. It isn't a lifestyle or a philosophy. No one is expected to live or die by its definition. It is NOT something one imposes on another, as you seem to be interpreting it here.
